In many sectors, projecting a sustainable image was enough to build trust among customers and consumers.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">That landscape is changing.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The new European regulatory framework is driving a far more rigorous approach to environmental communication. Environmental claims will have to be supported by verifiable evidence. Sustainability will no longer be measured by the strength of the message, but by the strength of the proof behind it.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">This is a profound change.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The question will no longer be who communicates sustainability best.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">It will be who can\u00a0demonstrate\u00a0it most convincingly.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">For the packaging sector, this\u00a0represents\u00a0a particularly significant evolution. Packaging materials will need to explain clearly where they come from, how their resources are managed, how they perform throughout their life cycle and what evidence supports every environmental claim.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Within this context, paper bags have particularly strong credentials.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Their renewable origin, the responsible management of their raw materials, their high recyclability and the regulatory framework governing the entire value chain provide a communication platform based on facts rather than\u00a0perceptions.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">This\u00a0new environment\u00a0rewards companies that have chosen transparency.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Because trust is not built on slogans.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">It is built on the ability to prove what is claimed.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">That is\u00a0probably the\u00a0most\u00a0significant change\u00a0introduced by the new European legislation.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">And it is also an opportunity to communicate sustainability with greater rigour, greater\u00a0clarity\u00a0and greater credibility.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":7728,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[54],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-7723","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>When Everyone Talks About Sustainability, Proof Makes the Difference - La bolsa de papel<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"The PPWR applies from 12 August 2026.
